Develop AI Agents

Introduction

Welcome to this workshop on developing AI agents with Microsoft Foundry!

This workshop is designed to provide a fast-track learning experience that gets you developing agents quickly. The core of the experience is a practical lab, in which you’ll develop your first agent. To help you, there are some conceptual topics that will give you the context you need to understand what you’re doing in the lab, and why you’re doing it!

Ask Anton

Throughout the workshop, you’ll see notes like this one; from which you can access the Ask Anton agent. You can use this agent to ask questions to fill in any gaps in your understanding, or to find relevant information in the Microsoft Foundry documentation.

Open the Ask Anton agent and choose your preferred experience:

  • Azure-based: A comprehensive AI assistant that uses a large language model deployed in Azure and tools to extract information from Azure documentation. You must have an Azure subscription in which you can create a Microsoft Foundry project and deploy a model.
  • Browser-based: A basic AI assistant that can answer questions about AI concepts and Microsoft Foundry, and search for relevant documentation using models that run locally in your browser.
